I recently made a quick trip out to Austin, Texas, my home state, to visit a couple buddies and of course bask in the seventy-five degree, Texas winter sun... the main reason for the trip may or may not have been just to get some Tex-Mex grub and margs. Every time I get back to Texas, I make sure to rifle through the untouched racks of some of the best vintage shops I've ever discovered. I managed to grab some one of kinds, like this tweed blazer for only two bucks! Yep, TWO bucks! After a quick alteration at Ramone's
in NYC, this blazer cost me less than fifty dollars. Every guy should have a great tweed blazer in their closet during the fall/winter season and this just goes to show, you don't have to spend a huge chunk of change to follow the trend. Styled with some basic Levi 501's
, a crewneck sweater, and my favorite pair of Warby Parker
specs and the tweed need trend is set for a more laid back, younger approach which any guy can pull off. Perfect for a day strolling through the city with coffee in hand, enjoying the transitioning winter to spring sun.
