If you’re ever going to invest in a trench coat you might as well get one from the people who gave birth to it. That’s right, Burberry invented the trench coat during World War 2 (you see, not only do you learn a thing or two about fashion, but today you learn about history) [You’re welcome]. I love the traditional British khaki number, but I decided to be a rebel and go with black. I’ve been obsessing over black and white lately, this is not new or groundbreaking by any means, but I’ve found a new appreciation for the graphic combo. Black and white is my go-to, anyone and everyone (despite your figure, height or weight) can pull off these two hues. I paired my trench coat with a linen crew neck tee, basic black jeans and white hi-top kicks. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, simplicity trends.
