Cotton suits. If you don’t own one already, get one. They’re super appropriate for the spring season, and no you shouldn’t limit yourself to the traditional khaki-colored one. Cotton suits are way more lighter, breathe better and overall way cooler than your winter warrior tweed/wool suits. I recently got this bad boy from French Connection and naturally paired it with stripes, pretending like I’m some prep school boy from the Hampton’s that is about to hop on his yacht for the week (wouldn’t that be nice?). Although I don’t own a boat, I sure can dress like I’m ready to sail. That should count for something, right? Lastly, I threw on a pair of brown accents: cap-toe lace-up shoes from Christian Louboutin and a brown leather strapped Daniel Wellington watch. Brown and Blue is the new Black and White of the season.
