Last week, I had the pleasure of attending a Stella Artois party celebrating their new product, Cidre. It’s a European-style cider made from hand-picked apples, making it the perfect summertime (or really…anytime) drink. The folks at Stella recommend drinking it from a white wine glass and pairing it with things like manchego, a Waldorf salad or fresh Belgian endives.


The event was held at the The Redbury in Hollywood, a hotel that oozes old Hollywood cool. A live jazz band, bocce ball set-up, open bar, and beautiful women filled the garden-like event space. It was all class—and the Stella Artois Cidre complimented everything perfectly. I’m not normally one to indulge in sweeter beverages, but there’s something very enjoyable about the subtle flavors of orange, red apple, peach, and apricot present in the Stella Artois Cidre.
